MARKHAM, ON — Flakeboard announced that Vice President and COO TJ Rosengarth will be leaving the composite panel company this month. According to reports, he plans to pursue a business opportunity in the Pacific Northwest.

Rosengarth leaves his current position after 25 years of service to Flakeboard, Weyerhaeuser and Williamette Industries.

In a statement, Kelly Shotbolt, president and CEO of Flakeboard said, “TJ has been a key employee and instrumental part of our organization’s growth and success. He has a stellar resume that includes building the first large-scale particleboard operation with a continuous press line in the US, and integrating two composite panel businesses together. TJ’s influence will remain with us here at Flakeboard and he leaves behind the strongest operating team in the industry.”

Flakeboard is the largest manufacturer of particleboard and MDF panels in North America. In addition to his role at Flakeboard, Rosengarth served as the 2007 Chairman of the Composite Panel Assn. and has been a longstanding member of the association’s Board of Directors. He also co-chaired CPA’s Industry Biomass Council, which he helped start last year.
