CHICAGO - Egan Visual, one of the leading producers of whiteboards, glassboards, and other visual communication products, has acquired Exact Furniture Ltd., a 15-year manufacturer of furniture for education, office, and other professional environments. Exact Furniture's line includes lecterns, static and height-adjustable tables, and desks, credenzas, and other products, many of which are designed for, and can be customized for, technology integration.

Egan has always offered a distinguished line of lecterns and centers. That is now significantly enhanced, says the company.

Exact will continue to serve customers through its nationwide network of Pro AV Integrators.  These resellers benefit from Exact's new access to Egan production capabilities, sales support, marketing programs, and Egan capabilities in industrial design.

Sean Brown, President & CEO of Egan Visual stated, "Increasingly, contract office dealers are reaching out for Professional AV solutions.  This acquisition responds to those needs by providing easy access to an established, proven line of Pro AV furniture."

He added, "All Egan products are Built to Inspire® and offer specifiers and end users three important things:  Innovative design, deep option sets for easy configuration, and an ability to customize – on short lead times and typically with no minimum order quantity.  Egan customers expect no less, and the Egan Exact product line does exactly this in a new range of Pro AV solutions."

The acquisition follows the recent Egan acquisition of Working Walls, a 30-year manufacturer of Acoustical Panel solutions in a wide array of commercial fabrics.  Like Working Walls, the Exact acquisition complements the existing Egan line in a way that is sure to please specifiers, dealers, and end-user clients.
