HIGH POINT — Bob Duncan, CEO of American Leather, was elected 2011 chairman of the American Home Furnishings Alliance during the annual meeting in Scottsdale, AZ.
Jeff Cook, president of Broyhill Furniture, will be first vice chairman and Wyatt Bassett, president/CEO of Vaughan-Bassett Furniture, is second vice chairman. John Bray, CEO of Vanguard Furniture, has moved to immediate past-chairman of AHFA’s Board of Directors. The officers assume their new posts Jan. 1.
Members newly elected to serve three-year terms on the AHFA Board of Directors include: Joe Johnston, Johnston Casuals; Bill Wittenberg, Klaussner; Kevin O'Conner, Samson Marketing; Steve Lehman, Smith Brothers of Berne; and Harvey Hollingsworth, The Natural Light.
