HOUSTON -- Dickson Furniture Industries, a maker and importer of case goods, is under new ownership.

Company executive Doug Mueller led an investor group to purchase the 35-year-old company from former CEO Jim Dickson, according to Furniture Today. Dickson will reportedly remain on board to help manage the company's 80,000-square-foot production and warehouse facility in Houston.
