UNION CENTER, S.D. - A fire has burned a custom cabinet and furniture shop to the ground.
Local news reported that CR Dreamworks caught fire sometime Wednesday night and burned until Thursday morning, before it was noticed by a state highway patrol trooper who called it in. The shop was completely destroyed - with only ash and twisted metal remaining.
Owner of CR Dreamworks Reed Cammack hopes to rebuild.
CR Dreamworks, located around 90 miles west of Pierre, makes custom kitchen cabinets for western South Dakota and neighboring areas. The company builds all products in its shop in Union Center.
