CINCINNATTI — Sims-Lohman, a provider of kitchen cabinets, granite, and quartz countertops to building professionals, purchased a 65,000-square-foot facility located in Crestview, Florida.
Located directly west of Bob Sikes Airport, the facility will serve as the company’s new Gulf Coast headquarters and will accommodate the company’s regional distribution needs, along with its granite and quartz countertop manufacturing operations. Once fully operational, the facility is expected to employ 90 workers.
“This new facility represents a major milestone in our growth strategy,” said CEO John Beiersdorfer. “By expanding our footprint along the Gulf Coast, we’re not only investing in operational efficiency—we’re investing in the local community. We’re proud to bring new jobs and long-term opportunity to the region.”
“Okaloosa County welcomes Sims-Lohman to our community and the efforts they are taking to help bring jobs to the area,” said Okaloosa County Board Chairman Paul Mixon. “We look forward to their success and the opportunities they will create for our residents.”
Sims-Lohman has made a series of strategic acquisitions along the Gulf Coast over the past 18 months – including acquisitions of Linn’s Prestige Kitchens and Baths, Kay’s Prestige Kitchens and Baths, and The Legacy Cabinet Company. With these acquisitions, the company now has 38 sales showrooms, 18 regional distribution centers, and seven state-of-the-art granite and quartz countertop manufacturing plants across twelve states.
Sims-Lohman, a Cincinnati-based company, is one of the largest privately-owned firms in the region, with $300 million in annual sales and a dedicated workforce of more than 690 team members.
A local economic development council, the One Okaloosa EDC, assisted the company with the initial facility search, ultimately leading to the successful property acquisition.
“Over the past 16 months, we have been working with Sims-Lohman, and we’ve found them to be a top-notch organization that cares deeply about doing things the right way. We are especially excited about their track record of supporting the communities they call home and know they will be a great addition to Crestview and Okaloosa County,” said Nathan Sparks, Executive Director, One Okaloosa EDC.
