Sims-Lohman,  which fabricates more than 30,000 granite and quartz countertops a year and cabinetry for more than 50,000 kitchens annually, has acquired the Florida-based The Legacy Cabinet Company.

The company says the joining of these two businesses creates a market-leading, family-owned, cabinet and countertop provider that serves customers throughout the Midwest and Southeastern United States. Details of the June 3 acquisition deal were not released.

With this acquisition, Sims-Lohman expands its footprint from eight states to 12, adds 10 customer showrooms and 11 distribution centers. This brings their total portfolio to 38 showrooms, 18 regional distribution centers and six state-of-the-art, granite and quartz countertop manufacturing plants.

Charlie Agnew, founder of The Legacy Cabinet Company says, “Over the last 20 years, we have strived to be the most sought-after cabinet company in the Southeast by providing the best customer experience. I am happy that our team members will be able to continue to build upon that success by joining a business that shares the same passion to take care of the customer.”

Legacy Cabinet specializes in custom cabinets and countertop design, and is a regional distributor operating in both new residential and commercial construction, as well as custom remodeling projects. Headquartered in Niceville, Florida, The Legacy Cabinet Company has showrooms and distribution centers throughout the Southeast United States.

“Sims-Lohman is thrilled to join forces with The Legacy Cabinet Company. By partnering with this established and well-resourced company, we will be able to continue our commitment to customer satisfaction in the new markets and position ourselves for additional growth in the future. We look forward to working with our new team members, customers, sub-contractors and supplier partners to ensure we continue to provide best-in-class service,” adds John Beiersdorfer, CEO, Sims-Lohman.
