A CMA meeting in 2020.

The Cabinet Makers Association (CMA) has announced the results of its annual election to decide its board of directors.

CMA members re‐elected Monika Soos of Sofo Kitchens (Maple Ridge, BC) and Ken Kumph of Premier Builders (Georgetown, MA) to each serve another three‐year term.

The board also installed the following officers who will serve in their appointed roles from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022:

  • President: Ken Kumph of Premier Builders (Georgetown, MA)
  • Vice President: Brian Clancy of Clancy Woodworking (Sherman, CT)
  • Treasurer: James Fox of Fox Woodworking (Phoenixville, PA)
  • Secretary: Gregory Paolini of Gregory Paolini Design (Canton, NC)

The Members‐at‐Large are Monika Soos of Sofo Kitchens (Maple Ridge, BC), Matt Wehner (Cabinet Concepts by Design (Springfield, MO), and the immediate Past President Chris Dehmer of Dark Horse Woodworks (Atlanta, GA).

The Cabinet Makers Association was incorporated in 1998 by a group of custom cabinet makers who thought the smaller shops needed to network and help each other grow profitably. Currently, CMA membership is made up primarily of 20 or fewer employee operations, with the vast majority of those being 1‐5 person shops.
