Economist, Alan Beaulieu, breaks down the results of the 2020 election and more via live video broadcast on November 10. His firm, ITR Economics, has long been heralded for its economic reporting, particularly as it relates to the woodworking industry.
Alan Beaulieu, the economist known best for his accuracy, dry wit and sound business advice, will deliver a 1 1/2 hour presentation via a live video broadcast on November 10 at 2 p.m. Eastern. Beaulieu’s presentation kicks off the Woodworking Network Leadership Series,  an online event series featuring key speakers on the industry’s most crucial issues.  Beaulieu is  the president of ITR economics.  The presentation is sponsored by EBC Blum, Inc. and WEIMA America.

Beaulieu said his presentation will attempt to clarify the issues that have made 2020 such a difficult year.  "Whether there is a second wave of Covid, and whoever wins the election, businesses must separate themselves from the headlines and the hype to plan for the future," said Beaulieu.  "I'll lay out clear action items for companies as we head into 2021."

Topics on the agenda include:
  • The impact of the election results
  • Reshoring
  • The evolving supply chain
  • Economic outlook for 2021and beyond
“We’re looking forward to hearing from Alan on November 10,” said Tim Fixmer, president and CEO of CCI Media, the parent company of Woodworking Network.  “The timing for Alan’s presentation couldn’t be more compelling as it will be exactly one week after the U.S. presidential election.”
Beaulieu was originally slated to be a keynote presenter at this year's Executive Briefing Conference at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs in November.  The EBC has been rescheduled for September 8-10, 2021 at the Broadmoor.
