The Architectural Woodwork Institute on January 28, 2022, opened the public comment for the Proposed American National Standard AWI 0400 - Factory Finishing. The public comment period will be open until February 27, 2022.

There are only three changes to the standard. Those changes were made for clarification and harmonization with other ANSI standards. Only these changes to the current standard are open for review and comment. AWI said that these changes are underlined in blue in the standard.
