Long-time industry veteran Gary Besonen has been named national sales manager for Apex Machine Group.

Besonen, who had worked for Timesavers for more than 35 years in various capacities including national woodworking sales manager, will service the wood, plastics and composites industries.

Founded in 2010, Apex Machine Group offers high-quality abrasive sanding machines and supplies for processing a variety of wood, metal and composite/plastic products. The company was formed as owners Jon Hill and John Becker combined their 45 years of experience to address the finishing needs of both the metal and wood markets. Centrally located in Minneapolis, the company can service customers throughout the United States and Canada.
