MOORESVILLE, N.C. - Altendorf Group announces the opening of its North American headquarters and the setup of its own network of distributors. The new headquarters is in Mooresville, North Carolina.

Altendorf took over the North American sales and marketing of its sliding table saws in January after ending its exclusive partnership with Stiles Machinery last year. The Mooresville, North Carolina, facility will offer all Altendorf Group products to distributors and customers in North America, including the company's full line of sliding table saws as well as Hebrock edgebanders (Maschinenbau Hebrock GmbH), which the group acquired in 2018. The Altendorf Group also said it is planning to add other lines to the portfolio in the near future.

“The Altendorf brand is well known and in demand in the United States," said Victor Cortes, managing director of Altendorf Group America. "This becomes very clear every time we speak with potential sales partners."

He continued, "We’re glad to offer Hebrock edgeband machines, which perfectly meet the technical requirements of our American customers. The initial challenge here will be raising awareness of the brand, which entered the U.S. market only recently.”

The North American headquarters will be home to management, a warehouse, a showroom for all Altendorf Group products and a spare parts warehouse, which will allow the company to respond to service requests as quickly as possible. “We want to be, first and foremost, the contact partner for distributors in the United States. We also want to impress distributors with our product quality and services,” Cortes added.
