New panel systems standard released

Grand Rapids, MI - The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has approved the new edition of ANSI/BIFMA X5.6 Panel Systems - Tests standard, and copies of the new edition are available from BIFMA immediately. The BIFMA Panel Subcommittee worked diligently to harmonize this new edition of X5.6 Panel Systems Tests with other ANSI/BIFMA Standards such as ANSI/BIFMA X5.5-2008 Desk/Table Products, ANSI/BIFMA X5.9-2004 Storage Units, and ANSI/SOHO S6.5-2008 Small Office/Home Office. The definitions, test set-ups, test procedures, load applications, etc. have been modified for consistency among these standards.
