WEIMA’s ECO1 Grinder has been an integral part of wood shops for years. Weima will introduce its new “Log Spacer” hopper design and special serrated knives at this year’s IWF. Many customers have small volumes of wood scrap including rippings, blocks and board scrap. Historically, customers have had to look at horizontal units for lineal scrap and hopper fed units for board and block scrap. This new hopper design along with 28 Weima patented “cross cut” knives, allows for a wide range of material to be shred.
