Quebec furniture makers and Convera join forces for export support
Convera

MONTREAL The Quebec Furniture Manufacturers Association has partnered with Convera to provide its members with specialized foreign exchange and international payment solutions.

This collaboration aims to help Quebec furniture manufacturers optimize cross-border transactions and better manage currency risk as they expand globally. Through this partnership, QFMA members will gain access to tailored financial strategies designed to improve cost-efficiency and reduce volatility in international transactions – crucial for manufacturers in export-heavy markets.

This initiative addresses increasing global pressures faced by Canadian manufacturers, including fluctuating currency values and rising operational costs. For Quebec’s furniture industry, a significant exporter to the U.S. and Europe, mitigating currency risk is vital for maintaining profit margins and competitiveness.

QFMA unites furniture manufacturers and suppliers, contributing to the province's furniture industry growth and its promotion domestically and internationally. Convera’s digital platform streamlines international payments in over 140 currencies across more than 200 countries and territories, offering favorable rates and minimal fees.
