EDMONTON, Alberta – The Architectural Woodwork Manufacturers Association of Canada (AWMAC) will hold its annual national convention June 8-10 at the Hilton Ontario in Toronto.
The three-day event features educational presentations, recreational outings, and plenty of opportunities to network with fellow attendees.
The theme of the 2023 national convention is One Team, One Goal, which AWMAC says, “will enable us to understand and celebrate the common goals of our association through collaboration, problem solving, unity, and teamwork.”
Wendel Clark, former captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs, will present a keynote speech about Leadership and what he learned from playing with and against some of the greatest leaders in the game.
Other presentations will explore attracting and retaining skilled workers, safety and risk management, and construction contracts.
