Lean Advisors to present WMCO Yellow Belt Training

HANOVER, Ontario — The Wood Manufacturing Cluster of Ontario will partner with Lean Advisors to present an encore of its Lean Yellow Belt Training Program.

The sessions will be held between Jan. 8 and Feb. 6, 2025. The program is open to WMCO members and non-members.

The program will provide foundational training in Lean principles, specifically designed for the wood manufacturing industry. Participants will learn how to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize processes across the production cycle.

An overarching goal of the program is learning how to maximize profits without increasing costs. Actionable strategies that this course will provide include:

  • Maximize existing space, equipment, and staff
  • Boost productivity and capacity
  • Improve overall process efficiency
