Woodgrain completes acquisition of Kelleher Corporation

FRUITLAND, Idaho — Woodgrain, one of North America's largest millwork companies, has gotten even bigger after it closed on the asset purchase of Kelleher Corporation. The acquisition includes distribution locations in Sacramento, Ontario, Carneros and Blackpoint, California, along with Honolulu, Hawaii, a manufacturing location in Bear Valley, Oregon, and an office in San Rafael, California.

In January, Woodgrain, which ranks #9 on the FDMC300 list of top North American wood products manufacturers, announced that it had entered into an asset purchase agreement to acquire Kelleher. Details of the acquisition were not released.

Kelleher Corporation specializes in the distribution of moulding, lumber, and doors, serving customers in California, Nevada, and Hawaii. The company said that the acquisition of Kelleher positions Woodgrain for significant growth in these key markets and as well as "enhanced service offerings, increased product availability, and a continued commitment to quality."
