"Industry 4.0 is probably the most important opportunity for the world to improve efficiency and automation," said Biesse President and CEO Federico Broccoli at IWF 2016.
Broccoli, who refers to Industry 4.0 as the smart factory, says Biesse has been working to help small to medium sized woodworking operations achieve automation. He also said Biesse is working to make all components compatible with the Internet of Things, in which machines would provide feedback on how to improve efficiency to management.
