BARRIE, Ont. -- Rampa Tec Inc. has announced that their patented insert type SKD330 has been named as a finalist for the IWF Challengers Award to be judged at the International Woodworking Fair.

The IWF Challengers Distinguished Achievement Award recognizes companies that have distinguished themselves by developing innovative technology in products, services, or manufacturing techniques that will advance the industry.

The SKD330, with its patented three external thread design, provides many enhancements over traditional inserts including faster processing, greater holding power (in all wood materials) along with straight installation.

The multiple three-thread design ensures that the insert stays straight with the surface of the material, eliminating tilting common to other inserts. In addition the innovative patented tri-thread contour is designed to cut assembly time in comparison with standard inserts for all varieties of wood and wood composites.
