ATLANTA — The International Woodworking Fair wrapped up 2024, with an estimated 26,000 attendees from across the entire woodworking industry on hand to view equipment, technology, supplies and services from approximately 1,100 exhibitors spread throughout three buildings — more than 1 million square feet — of the Georgia World Congress Center.

The biennial event took place Aug. 6-9 in Atlanta. The next IWF will be held Aug. 25-28, 2026.

Highlights of the show include the awarding of the Challengers Distinguished Achievement Award to seven companies (see video below), and announcement of the six winners of the 2024 Design Emphasis Student Furniture competition. The Wood Industry Association, which owns IWF, also named the 2024 Wooden Globe Award winners during the show.

Educational sessions on a range of business management, manufacturing, marketing and workforce maintenance included those presented by Woodworking Network: Are you ready to capitalize on closets?; Tough love for those new to woodworking; Pricing for profit and sales;  One-on-one with CNC adoption; and Social media and digital marketing; plus two all-day symposium presented the day prior to IWF, on Closets and CNC Bootcamp.
