I have some outdoor furniture made with Eastern Red Cedar. It has three coats of an exterior polyurethane on it. A couple of weeks in, we noticed a few spots. Sanding the area reveals that the spots are in the cedar and not the finish. Anyone ever see this before? Any ideas what it is? There are no knots on the other side of the board.
