Furthermore, hardwood pays tribute to the history of Williamsport—the founders’ hometown. In fact, to honor the city that has been credited for industrializing the nation with its forests, the company’s name, brand and logo, and original manufacturing location near Water Tower Square, pay homage to Brick Mill—a mill that was located on the Susquehanna River at the turn of the 19th century.
