ATLANTA – Global flooring trends will be on display at Domotex USA. Organized by Hannover Fairs USA, the show takes place Feb. 5-7 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

The theme for the 2020 show is “The World At Your Feet.” “There is no other floor covering trade show or market in North America that is more focused on the business needs of floor covering buyers, designers and installers than Domotex USA," said Donna Busse, show director. "In addition to the global flooring industry on display, we specifically built this year’s educational program to grow our attendees’ businesses,” she added.

Manufacturers from China, Germany, India, Italy, the Netherlands, Turkey and more will join well-known American manufacturers such as Anderson Tuftex (division of Shaw Industries), Dixie Group, Milliken & Co., Mullican Flooring and USFloors (division of Shaw Industries) to display hard and soft flooring designs, plus the latest application and installation technologies.

HFUSA said many of the international exhibitors are utilizing Domotex USA 2020 to introduce their unique flooring products to retailers, distributors, home builders, contractors, remodelers, interior designers and residential floor covering installers focused on the North American residential marketplace.

14F digital printing

“I4F supports the global flooring industry by licensing cutting-edge technologies in the areas of locking, materials and panel composition, board and wall panels, surface finishing, digital printing and manufacturing processes,” said John Rietveldt, CEO of 14F. “During our displays across the Domotex portfolio of global trade shows, I4F is introducing several technologies and building on existing platforms. Locking is, and will remain, our core business with digital printing and material savings as our other key focus areas,” he added. The Netherlands-based 14F will showcase some new as well as existing technologies, including its 3L TripleLock and Click4U, the company’s flagship flooring installation systems already available in the U.S.

At Domotex USA, I4F will display its new patented technology, LevioTech, that enables manufacturers to save up to 15 percent on materials during the production of rigid polymer boards. The technology enhances productivity by optimizing the extrusion process during the production of rigid polymer boards, including expanded polymer core (EPC) and solid polymer core (SPC) panels. I4F also is showcasing several other new technologies belonging to its “pick and choose” Patent Cluster Concept, comprising close to 3,000 patents and technologies, including a surface finishing treatment delivering the ultimate matte look with enhanced benefits and a breakthrough MgO, veneer board that resolves virtually all the disadvantages currently associated with natural wood flooring. “Our cutting-edge digital printing offerings will become very obvious to those visiting our booth in Atlanta,” noted Rietveldt.

Vancouver-based XL Flooring said it utilizes an advanced manufacturing process in Korea to produce luxury vinyl tiles and planks. “While not a new market for us, the U.S. is very much our target market for sales expansion,” said Andreas Michael, marketing and communications manager at XL Flooring. “Our LVT products are extremely versatile and can be installed in both residential and commercial properties. We look forward to reaching all of the floor covering professionals Domotex attracts to its Atlanta event,” Michael said.
