HANNOVER, Germany - A new Climate Ticket will allow visitors and exhibitors to LIGNA 2025 to travel on public transportation free of charge and CO₂-neutral within the greater Hannover area with a valid show ticket, courtesy of Deutsche Messe in cooperation with the ÜSTRA network. Free travel on local public transport within the ÜSTRA network is also available to media representatives with a valid trade show press pass.
“With the new Climate Ticket, we are enabling all LIGNA participants to travel to the trade fair conveniently, cost-effectively, and sustainably," said Dr. Jochen Köckler, CEO of Deutsche Messe AG. "Just in time for LIGNA’s 50th anniversary, this is a great early birthday present. As a company, we are actively contributing to reducing CO₂ emissions while also easing the burden on transport infrastructure and enhancing Hanover’s attractiveness as a trade fair location."
The Climate Ticket is effective March 21 and applies to all Deutsche Messe trade shows in the Hannover area.
