CIFF Shanghai, the International Furniture Fair in China, concluded its 54th edition

SHANGHAI — CIFF Shanghai, the International Furniture Fair in China held annually at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre in Shanghai Hongqiao, has just concluded its 54th edition, which was themed ‘Design Empowerment - Dual Internal-External Drive’.

Bringing the entire furniture supply chain together under one roof, the fair was divided into a variety of themed areas—including Design Eden – Contemporary Design Trade Fair; Sofa Pavillon; Smart Sleep Pavillon; and Living & Dining Rooms Funiture Pavillon—hosting five distinct fairs: CIFF WMF, CIFF Upholstery Tech, CIFF Offices & Public Spaces Exhibition, CIFF Urban Outdoor Furniture Exhibition, and CIFF Home Textiles & Accessories Lifestyle Exhibition.

The event brought together over 1,300 brands in an exhibition area of 300,000 square metres. Of the total 89,433 trade visitors, 10,486 came from all over the world, marking an increase of 18.31% in international attendance and demonstrating Chinese companies’ successful transition away from product export and towards brand export.

The balance of this edition was an obvious strong point, not only in terms of the number of attendees and the phenomenal scale achieved but, above all, with regard to original product design, the quality of the stands, and the proven ability of the participating companies to offer innovative solutions for good living at home as well as in the office, in public spaces as well as outdoors.

The brands that made this latest edition unique include:

  • CAMERICH, which is pursuing a sustainable zero-waste strategy with its ‘Transit Garden’, using its stand to tell the story of not just the product but the whole packaging system, letting interactions between people take centre stage alongside the product.
  • HC28 Cosmo has made customisation standard and standardisation customisable. All products can be manufactured in a modular manner, reducing waste and enhancing overall aesthetic value.
  • CHIC CASA collaborated with Rison Home and imported appliances from V-ZUG to create a unique, chic style characterised by rich artistic details like mosaics and murals.
  • COOMO showcased lifestyle, comfort, and beauty through eye-catching design, bringing together trendy products from international brands.
  • DAaZ presented minimalist products with an understated design characterised by unconventional proportions.
  • Higold introduced a new collection of unique designs with simple lines inspired by the 1960s.
  • MARATTI presented Earth Forest Space, designed to create innovative communities—a functional hub for agile organisations.
