What to do with your wood offal? Dress it up.

Inspired by wood, fashion designer Olivier Rousteing created this dress for Balmain’s Pre-Fall 2013 collection. The long-sleeved mini dress looks like it has polished strips of mahogany woven into an intricate design.

The Balmain dress has already been featured on the red carpet, most recently by actress Olga Kurylenko at the Taipei, Taiwan premier of “Oblivion,” which co-stars Tom Cruise.
