MEDELLIN, Colombia — Garden of the Soul is an interior yoga and wellness space where lighting plays a central role in shaping a calm, introspective, and sensorial experience.

Designed by ESTUDIO DEDÓS, the lighting concept was developed to support mindfulness practices, while respecting the natural rhythms of the body and the architecture of the woodened space.

Lighting control systems were integrated to modulate intensity and scenes according to the time of day, enhancing the connection between artificial and natural light. This approach reinforces the project’s focus on wellbeing, reducing visual stress and supporting a more conscious and restorative spatial experience.

Rather than acting as a decorative element, light becomes an invisible guide that enhances the architecture, materials, and sensory perception of the space.
