STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- The Stockholm Furniture Fair displayed many innovations within interior design for public spaces. New products, color palettes, materials, knowledge, and trends were on display, according to Scandinavian Spaces, which is bringing these designs to the United States.

The Alto easy chair/sofa was designed by Mattias Stenberg for Materia, a Scandinavian Spaces partner.

Alto is characterized by simplicity, and the fact that the shape is visible from the inside and outside. An additional option is a pocket sewn into either end piece to hold magazines or menus. Alto comes as an easy chair, two seater, three seater or corner sofa.

Today daybed was designed by Mia Cullin for Materia.

The Today daybed was designed by Mia Cullin for Materia, a Scandinavian Spaces partner. This is a flexible daybed characterized by a contrast of textiles and steel. Available extras are a bolster and a back cushion, both of which can be removed thanks to the upholstered buttons. The backrest can be mounted on either side. Today is suited for office spaces, lounges or rest areas.

The Bob Home modular sofa was designed by Thomas Bernstrand Stefan Borselius for Bla Station, also a Scandinavian Spaces partner. Customers can choose from straight sofas of varying length and corner sofas. This design is softer than the original with a new slimmer armrest.
