HIGH POINT - Designer Don Ricardo Massenburg, founder of Design InKredible and newly appointed design chair for High Point x Design (HPxD), will lead 12 design professionals, with a Fall 2021 Market pass, on a specially curated daylong tour of showrooms in a stretch Hummer.

The tour will take place on the first day of the Fall Market, October 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Designers have until September 24 to apply to the event which is free of charge and includes breakfast, lunch, after-party, and swag.

According to Furniture Today, Massenburg was appointed as design chair by the HPxD board in August. “As a designer, he is recognized for his bold use of color, pattern, and lush textiles, as well as leadership in the industry. As an education specialist, he assesses how the environment impacts learning. No matter what hat he wears, his end goal is elevating spaces and the quality of life,” the publication said.

The Hummer Tour showroom list will be announced in early October. The High Point Market is requiring masks for the hummer and all showrooms.
