WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Rometal will showcase a pair of space transforming door systems at the 20th annual Closets Expo, co-located with Wood Pro Expo Florida, June 12-13 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.

The Brazilian company’s EVO system has won numerous international awards for combining technology, safety and attention-getting design. The recognition includes winning third place in the New Product category at the LMC Trade Show in the U.S., Germany’s Red Dot Award in 2020 and multiple design awards in Brazil.

EVO creates integrated and continuous environments. The system offers anti-derailment, damping when opening and closing, and is hanged, which eliminates the need for tracks on the floor. In addition, EVO is versatile. it can be applied to wooden or glass doors and supports doors weighing up to nearly 180 pounds.

Rometal’s Articolato system for accordion or folding doors divides and integrates spaces. In addition to allowing light to pass through, the system allows for better use of space due to the opening format, in which one leaf folds over the other and can be completely retracted to the side.

Articolato is ideal for reconfiguring environments and creating more space by organizing doors without the need for floor tracks. Its unique movement produces a modern and sophisticated effect when integrating spaces.

The system allows up to six leaves to be installed on each upper track for wooden doors. However, the weight per leaf cannot exceed 110 pounds. The width cannot exceed 30 inches, and the thickness must be between 25mm and 45mm.

The available hinge options, which come with the system, include the standard hinge, the invisible hinge, the adjustable invisible hinge and the top hinge.
