CHARLOTTE, N.C. - SurfPrep will display portable sanding systems and other products at the co-located Cabinets & Closets Conference & Expo and Wood Pro Expo Charlotte, March 6-8 in the Charlotte Convention Center.
The company says the foundation of the SurfPrep Sanding System is built on attention to detail as it continues to create new products with the focus of reducing both labor and sanding material costs.
Among the products on display at the SurfPrep by Dixon Booth #518 will be LED inspection lights, the 3x8 Electric Ray, the 5x6 Trident Air and Electric Ray portable sanders, and the 3x4 Electric Ray as well as foam-, paper-, and film-backed abrasives.
The LED inspection light provides inspection lighting cast at a very low angle, which helps sanding machine operators and sanding table personnel to see the defects before they end up in the finishing room. The company says the low-angle lighting silhouettes scratch patterns and any surface imperfections to make them ten times more visible.
Generating 3,500-4,500 lumens while giving off low heat, each LED has a 30,000 to 50,000 hour life span with each light bar consuming 0-60 watts. Also, a dimmer is available that can run two light bars simultaneously. The company says the LED’s warm 5,500-6,000 K light temperature is closer to daylight, which is better for color rendition.
