RESTON, Va. – February cabinet sales improved 7.3% over January figures, but were down 9.1% compared to the year prior, with all three segments reporting year-over-year losses for the month, according to the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association's February Trend of Business report.
The 48 responding companies reported overall sales of $166.784 million for February 2026. Custom sales were down 12.5% to $43.241 million, while semi-custom dropped 7.0% to $96.278 million and stock sales fell 10.6%, to $27.266 million. Respondents reported a cabinet quantity for the month of 441,668, down 9.6% compared to February 2025 figures.
However, for the month-over-month sales comparison, survey respondents reported increases in all three segments. Custom sales rose 5.8%, semi-custom grew 7.9%, and stock sales were up 7.2% in February compared to January figures. Cabinet quantity increased 9.3% during the time period.
The Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA) represents kitchen cabinet and bath vanity manufacturers and key suppliers of goods and services to the industry. KCMA has been compiling and reporting industry sales data for more than 40 years.
