Furniture Brands Reduces 3Q Forecast

ST. LOUIS – According to the Associated Press, Furniture Brands International Inc. cut its third quarter profit forecast, citing deteriorating trends in the home furniture market. The company projects earnings of $0.09 to $0.13 per share, which is down from the July 26 target of $0.18 to $0.22 per share.

Tornado Hits California Closets" Warehouse

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY -- A California Closets' warehouse was nearly destroyed when it was struck by tornado July 12. The twister, reportedly a first for Westchester County, tore down the company's winndows, walls and an entire floor. No one was serious injured, according to WCBS-TV.

2007 WIC Focuses on "Retooling America"

TigerStop Completes Facility Expansion

VANCOUVER, WA -- TigerStop LLC recently completed a 10,000-square-foot expansion to its facility. The new space provides room for more research and development along with an increase in staff. The company said it has also upgraded its phone system and customer relationship management software.
