OSHA fines Michigan-based Cedar Creek

NEW BALTIMORE, Mich. – The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited Cedar Creek Carpentry Inc., a carpentry contractor headquartered in New Baltimore, with one alleged willful safety violation for exposing workers to fall hazards while performing carpentry at a worksite in New Lenox, Ill.

KCMA changes ESP environmental program

The Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Assn. has revised the certification criteria for its Environmental Stewardship Program (ESP). The new KCMA ESP 04-11 criteria become effective January 1, 2011. Currently, more than140 companies/brands are ESP certified.
