Wilsonart will be on hand at the 2015 NeoCon displaying its latest product innovations as well as the winning design in its annual student competition.

From Booth 8-1122 in the Materials Pavilion at the Merchandise Mart, NeoCon attendees will be able to see “Blossom,” the winning design from the 11th annual Wilsonart Challenges Student Chair Design Competition, which was developed by Samantha Lilly of Appalachian State University.

Lilly used Wilsonart’s Persian cherry and Antique White laminate, which was laser cut into the wood substrate of the chair.

“The elegant lines and curves of ‘Blossom’ characterize the Appalachian region in a way that allows us all to feel connected to this distinct culture,” said Natalia Smith, design manager for Wilsonart. “That unique power of design is what we hope to uncover through this competition.”

Wilsonart will also showcase its new premium surface collection, Wilsonart Quartz as well as its Virtual Design Library offering more than 150 new laminate designs; Coordinated Surfaces which is a collection of high performance laminate, thermally fused laminate panels and edgebanding available in over 200 curated designs and six exclusive textured finishes; and Re-Cover, a vertical grade laminate and adhesive that creates an alternative option to standard HPL installation and fabrication.

Wilsonart is a one of the largest manufacturers and distributors of HPL and other engineered surfaces used in furniture, office and retail space, countertops, worktops and other applications.
