SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- Smith & Fong Co. has announced a new range of Durapalm carved wall and ceiling panel systems for 2020; the first of several to be launched this year.

Derived from the patterns and designs of Smith & Fong’s Plyboo Linear bamboo panel collection, the Durapalm products take on a more exotic look, owed in part to the color and texture of the palm material itself. The look and feel as well as the rarity of palm interior products makes this line suited to a wide array of commercial interior applications, including retail, hospitality and commercial office.

This range of eight includes the colors Mandalay, Desert, Darjeeling, Kashmir, Bitteroot, Simla, Colonial, and Rangoon.

All Durapalm carved wall and ceiling panels are manufactured in the United State with imported and domestic materials. Panels are Class C fire-rated and surpass the requirements under CARB II formaldehyde emissions standards using ULEF resins. Finished dimensions are 0.75 x 47.75 x 95.75 inches. Durapalm panels can contribute to USGBC’s LEED credits for Low-Emitting Materials and Biobased Materials. See http://durapalm.com
