Using 5/8-inch lumber to face kitchen cabinets

Several years ago we cut down a pecan tree and had it milled into rough planks for later use. When milling it, I discovered I should have had the planks cut thicker, as many (about 1/3) milled down to 5/8 inch. Unfortunately, the lumber that is 11/16 inch or thicker (I thought 11/16 inch was probably acceptable) is not enough to do all the cabinets. My understanding is that 3/4 foot is the standard. Will I have problems if I use the 5/8 inch stock and just mill my thicker stock to 5/8 inch so it is all the same?
