Sales were $75.4 million, down 14% from the $87.7 million sold in the second quarter of 2006. The company attributed the shortfall primarily to continued soft furniture retail conditions.

AUBURN, ME — The first class of apprentices to complete wood furniture company, Thos. Moser’s four-year program will receive their Journeyman Certificates on July 11, the company announced. The Apprentice Program was launched at Thos. Moser in December 2002, and was the first registered cabinetmaker apprentice program in the state of Maine.
