SEATTLE – Boise Cascade LLC’s packing and newsprint facility in Burley, ID, was recognized in the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s Voluntary Protection Program. The company achieved “star” level for safety and health excellence.
“The level of safety and health excellence achieved at the Boise Cascade packaging and newsprint facility in Burley is impressive and shows that work can be done safely with proper hazard analysis, planning and training,” said Richard Terrill, OSHA’s regional administrator in Seattle.
The Boise facility has 132 onsite employees.
