TORONTO — ARDIS, a developer of end-to-end software used in woodworking operations around the globe, will exhibit at the Woodworking Machinery & Supply Conference and Expo, November 12-14 at the Toronto Congress Centre.
One platform, complete control
ARDIS offers a software platform designed specifically for the woodworking and interior manufacturing industries. Its suite connects and optimizes every step of production — from planning and inventory to machining and finishing — giving manufacturers complete visibility and control. The system combines advanced panel optimization, smart inventory management for panels and offcuts, seamless machine integration across mixed brands, and full control visibility and control over production.
Production planning becomes visual and flexible with simple drag-and-drop scheduling. Orders can be batched, priorities adjusted, and instructions sent directly to the operator screens. When issues arise, such as broken parts or shortages, they are handled automatically, while real-time cost calculation ensures accurate post-analysis. The results are: fewer delays, higher output, improved margins and less stress in the organization without spending too much time on implementation.
Smarter production with existing equipment
Efficiency gains often come from using existing equipment more effectively. ARDIS says its optimization algorithms can save up to 10 percent in material on saws and nesting operations and increase CNC output by as much as 20 percent with techniques such as stay-down and common-line cutting. The company notes that one of its customer recently boosted production from 350 to 410 pieces per shift, which prevented him having to buy a new nesting machine,
“Many companies underestimate how much performance is hidden in their current equipment,” says Bern De Lille, CEO of ARDIS. “Smarter scheduling and control often deliver a higher return than additional hardware.”
From custom work to mass customization
Where “custom” once meant high costs and long lead times, today’s buyers expect flexibility, speed, and competitive pricing. With modern software and machinery, manufacturers can now achieve mass customization — producing individualized products with the efficiency of mass production.
“The goal is to deliver customized products at industrial efficiency,” De Lille explains. “By supporting operators with clear digital instructions, monitoring capacity, and tracking KPIs, we bring the principles of Industry 4.0 to life on the shopfloor.”
With more than 40 years of experience, a global customer base, and a strong focus on innovation, ARDIS supports woodworking companies in their digital transformation. The company will showcase its latest software at booth #1035. Learn more at ardisus.com.
