Biography:
Randy Maxey has been writing about woodworking professionally since 2005. A lifetime woodworker, he owns and operates a custom woodworking business, Cherry Ridge Woodworks, where he builds custom furniture. Randy collects and restores antique tools, especially old hand tools. In a former life, Randy was a CAD consultant and has a particular interest in using computers and technology in the wood shop. Randy, originally from central Ohio, now resides in Des Moines, IA.
