Because Nitrogen is without moisture, the painting process becomes much more constant than with compressed air, which varies in moisture content and temperature throughout the day. The Nitrotherm technology finish process produces a higher quality finish and allows the finish process to be standardized and controlled, the company says.

The Nitrotherm technology also controls the temperature from 80 to 176 degrees, allowing the coating to be applied without reducers and at a lower pressure.
