Vero Software's latest Alphacam release has updated its nesting and automation functions. The company says Alphacam 2019 R1 provides a streamlined way to quickly create and deploy nest projects, giving greater flexibility and productivity. Updates and additions include drag-and-drop support for manually nested parts, automatic alignment to match parts, elimination of the need to create CSV files on Automation Manager, and the tool ordering utility to reassign the tool sequence. It also features enhancements to reporting, the user interface, 3D machining, cylindrical-parallel machining, and the sawing module interface. Also, the new version allows users to provide universal control over the stock in an Auto-Z operation.
