Axiom Tool Group's new Stratus Air Cleaner pulls dust downward toward the floor and releases clean air upward. Using a cylindrical-pleated canister air filter with a surface area of nearly 9,000 square inches, the company says the Stratus can run 15 times longer than traditional overhead ambient cleaners. The filter is accessed with a twist-and-lift maneuver. The operator can set the power to low, medium, or high, and power the unit on and off all with a single button. It is engineered with a large, polyethylene base and features a 360 degree handle as well as a 16 foot power cord to ensure that it can be moved to where it is needed in the shop. Shipped fully assembled, the Stratus Air is available in two models, the Stratus and the Stratus Pro.
