Epilog Laser introduces the Fusion 40 Laser, the latest in its CO2 Laser line, featuring a 40” x 28” (1016 x 711 mm) engraving table and wattage configurations up to 120. Epilog Laser said the design of the Fusion 40 was created to maximize engraving space, while maintaining the physical footprint of comparable laser systems with a smaller bed. The Fusion 40 includes the same features as its predecessor, the Fusion 32, including the redesigned motion control system that allows for higher speed engraving and precise cutting quality. Other features of the Fusion 40 include: an intuitive joystick control that allows operators to move the table and fire the laser directly plus comprehensive job management software that includes a job-time estimator. Resolution is user controlled for 75 to 1200 dpi. Suitable materials include wood, acrylics, glass, plastic, fabric, stone and marking metals. Maximum material thickness is 14.25”. State-of-the-art, digitally controlled, air-cooled CO2 laser tubes are fully modular, permanently aligned and field replaceable, says the company. It has industrial DC servo motors for fast speeds. The drop-down front door offers easy access and convenient part loads, adds Epilog Laser.
