Replacement tubes that look and feel just like standard fluorescents are now available from Orbit Industries. Orbit’s T8 LED fixtures have a standard T8 bi-pin prong,  are UL- approved for retrofits and offer the equivalent output of 32-watt T8 fluorescents.  Available in warm (4300K) or cool white (4500K), they deliver up to 50,000 hours of use. Applications include educational facilities, office and commercial centers, retail stores, healthcare clinics and government buildings.  The fixtures measure 48” long x 1.18” wide and weigh 14.09 oz and do not require a ballast. Mercury-free and cool to the touch, Orbit T8 LEDs are also RoHS-compliant.
