Makita introduces its new 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless ½” Hammer Driver-Drill, model LXPH03, featuring 750 in.lbs. of Max Torque and 18% more speed, says the company. It is part of the 18V cordless series powered by one 18V Lithium-Ion battery. Features include a Makita-built 4-pole motor, with up to 30,000 BPM and 2,000 RPM. The all-metal gear system is compact at 8-7/8” long and 5.1 lbs. including the battery. A protective seal inside the tool is engineered for improved water resistance by channeling water and dust away from the tool’s key internal components. It has 21 clutch settings for optimal fastening torque control and an all-metal ½” ratcheting chuck for improved bit retention, dual L.E.D. lights and a tool belt clip, attachable to either side of the tool. It also features a rubberized ergonomically-contoured grip.
