Canyon Creek Cabinet Co. expanded its lines of framed and framless cabinetry. The Hana and Lanai door styles, made of three layers of eco-friendly bamboo laminated together, now are available in the Millennia frameless cabinetry line. The bamboo plywood offers a vertical grain in the Hana and a horizontal grain in Lanai. Black walnut is now offered in both the Cornerstone framed and Millennia frameless cabinet lines. Black walnut has color variations ranging from dark chocolate to lighter browns and blond and white sapwood. Toffee stain was chosen as the color on black walnut, as it tones the lighter shades of wood and accentuates the grain, the company says. In addition, Canyon Creek now offers three levels of sheen for topcoats, all with identical physical properties and applications. Lo-Luster, the newest addition, has a very low sheen and nearly flat finish with 5 percent reflectivity, the company says. The topcoat is suitable for finish enhancements, especially wire brush marks and re-sawn cuts found in the artisan distressing packages.
