Treefrog presents E-frog, new edgebanding for Treefrog Veneer laminates. E-frog is a prefinished wood veneer with no masking on a color matched ABS plastic backer. It is currently offered in eight veneers. Many finishes without a corresponding veneer have a close match and can be used as edgebanding. Order minimum is one roll covering approximately thirteen 4 x 8 foot panels and eleven 4 x 10 foot panels.

Safety Speed Mfg. says woodworkers can cut vertically or horizontally using one of its vertical panel saws featuring a heavily guarded saw blade that reduces the chance of operator contact with the blade. Made in America, the saws are ideal for woodworkers cutting for 1 hour a day, or 8+ hours, the company says.

Colonial Saw says the futuristic-looking new Striebig Standard S is an operator-friendly, powerful, manual machine. It features a choice of back support, optional true split-blade scoring, and the optional Comfort package, including Y-axis digital measuring with push-button carriage clamping and fine adjustment, auto-locking rollers, and a laser cut line for horizontal cuts.

Available from Martin, the Gannomat ProTec is a compact CNC center for the processing of drilling, grooving and routing jobs. Developed specially for just-in-time manufacturing as well as large batch production, the machine can accommodate both large (1000 x 5600 x 60 mm) and small (60 x 250 x 6 mm) workpiece dimensions. Features include: air jets for "gentle" workpiece handling, double laser measurement capability, and fast processing with up to 23 drilling spindles. The ProTec has a footprint under 3.3 square meters.

Koch says its Endmaster-K series offers a reliable solution for edgebanding/end capping of narrow parts like cabinet door components or profiled components. The system can be provided single-sided for just-in-time processing or double-sided for larger batches. The edgebanding unit works with PVA or PUR glue. The company says 3-axis units will trim the edgeband precisely to the desired contour. Multiple stations, end milling, or drilling for dowel holes can be incorporated in the machine.

Better Vacuum Cups says with the DS132147 cup, the machine operator does not have to remove the spoilboard and plug holes. With this double-sided seal they can rotate or place the cup anywhere on the spoilboard. The cup measures 132 x 147mm and is also stackable for five-axis work. At 35mm height the user can easily go to 70mm.
